Native Plant Sale & Annual TreeFest Event
Each year, Underwood Conservation District (UCD) offers low-cost native tree and shrub seedlings to residents in the Columbia River Gorge. We provide a diverse selection of conifers, deciduous trees, and native shrubs—all available as 1–3 year-old bare-root or tree plug seedlings, ready to plant and thrive.
The online sale runs from January through the end of February, making it easy and convenient for landowners in Skamania and western Klickitat Counties to access high-quality native plants at an affordable price.
Our annual plant sale is one of the many ways UCD supports habitat restoration, strengthens wildlife corridors, and promotes the use of native species across our landscape. By planting native trees and shrubs, you’re helping improve soil health, protect water resources, and create habitat for birds, pollinators, and other wildlife throughout the Gorge.
TreeFest: The Celebration Continues!
The culmination of our online sale is TreeFest, our March celebration and order pick-up event. TreeFest also features a walk-up sale, giving attendees the opportunity to purchase single stems or mix-and-match custom bundles—perfect for filling in gaps or starting a new project.
TreeFest is more than a plant pick-up, it’s a community celebration of conservation! Meet UCD staff, learn about our programs, and connect with local organizations and nurseries at informational booths. Enjoy live music, family-friendly activities, food, and a few of our partners even bring live animals.
Come celebrate all things conservation and kick off the planting season with us!
