UCD Mobile Chipper Service: Spring 2026 Session

Snowden, November 2024

Spring 2026 Registration is in NOW OPEN!

Please ensure you read our Terms and Conditions before applying.

Signups for UCD’s mobile chipping service are now open! If you’ve had an assessment performed on your property for forest health or defensible space and have woody fuel piles you’d like to get chipped, sign up here!

UCD is once again offering our free mobile chipping service to district residents coming early-to-mid May. All are welcome to register, though please note we will be prioritizing residents who have had a forest health or home ignition zone assessment in the past two years, have not been able to participate in a UCD chipping session over the past four years, and/or have been affected by the Burdoin Fire to help reduce woody debris created by the burn. Be sure to read our terms and conditions for chipping carefully before signing up. Once registration closes on April 29th, 2026 we’ll inform clients whether we are able to fit them in this Spring, and when to have their piles ready for our chipping crews coming in early to mid-May.

Special Note: If you are in the Burdoin Fire Area a Defensible Space Crew may be available for Burdoin Fire-Affected areas, providing extra resources to help with thinning, tree falling, and brushing. Please contact dan@ucdwa.org for further questions.

If you have any additional questions, please email our wildfire resilience specialists, or call us at 509-774-7699.

Thank you!
